"A voice of elegance and impassioned delivery, Lou Galterio commands the attention of his audience. His powerful baritone and unusually broad repertoire encompasses the styles
from Frank Sinatra to Andrea Bocelli!"

A few years ago, Lou Galterio was working behind a desk in the corporate world. At the time, singing was just a hobby. He never thought that he would one day be a headliner, live and in concert! It wasn't until his job no longer needed him, that he considered a new career. One that all started with a passion for music.
In high school, Lou studied "The Art of Singing" by Enrico Caruso. During that time, he only enjoyed listening to the great singers. While in college, he took private singing lessons at the urging of an accomplished opera singer. After three months under her teaching, he auditioned with the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra. He accepted a volunteer spot on the chorus, where he sang for the next ten years. He studied under the guidance of the late Paul Eisenhart and performed under the direction of Maestro James Judd. Opportunities to sing with the Florida Grand Opera also came. Still, all of this was only just a hobby at the time.
His life suddenly changed when he was invited to perform the National Anthem for Major League Baseball. While waiting to sing for the first time as a soloist, Lou was approached by an ESPN representative, who told him that his performance would be broadcast live on national television! Already nervous and finding out that he now had a larger audience, Lou belted out his very first Star Spangled Banner.
The attention brought many other opportunities to sing the anthem. For the Governor of Florida, Opening Day of the Joint Session of Congress, Former First Lady Bush and the Speaker of the House. The rest, as they say, is history...
