“Dear Lou:

It is my pleasure to recognize and thank you for your outstanding vocal performance..."

- Charlie Crist, Governor of Florida

"The beauty and strenght of Lou's voice as he performs is unquestionably fantastic.  His sincerity and emotion is delivered with seeming ease.  His respect was felt deeply for those we were gathered to honor.  You are immediately grabbed and drawn to his talent which he shared with the families, friends and co-workers at the Florida Fraternal Order of Police Memorial Service honoring our fallen heroes.  Thank you Lou."
- James W. Preston, President Florida Fraternal Order of Police

"Lou has a Beautiful strong voice.  His rendition of the National Athem is just amazing.  Lou performed at the Florida Fraternal Order of Police Law Enforcement Memorial Service in May 2008 and he was fabulous!!!"
- Noel Beary, Special Projects Coordinator, Orange County Sheriff's Office

"Lou, As Chaplain of the Florida State FOP Lodge, I want to thank you for your wonderful gift of song. Please accept my endorsement to sing at the Nation Police Officer's Memorial Ceremony in Washington DC, during Police Week of May 15, 2009."
- Terri Straw, State Chaplain Florida State Lodge, FOP

"I had the privilege of working with Lou Galterio during the preparation for the 2008 Florida Fraternal Order of Police Law Enforcement Memorial Service.  After hearing a recording of Lou singing it was a unanimous decision made by the Memorial Committee to request that he sing during our program. After hearing his exquisite voice my concern was that as a professional singer, he would expect payment for his services.  Since our event is paid for through donations and t-shirt sales I doubted we could afford to pay him what he is obviously worth. After speaking to him, I can honestly say that I have never dealt with a more gracious individual. He reiterated many times how honored he was to be ask to sing at our service.  Lou would not have accepted any payment for his time, even if we could have offered it. His voice mesmerized the audience during both the Evening service for past survivors and the Daytime service for the recognition of the Line of Duty Deaths during 2007.  All I can say is Thank You for a job well done."
                                                                                                                - Donna Suereth, Chaplain, Florida State Fraternal Order of Police

"Lou was invited to sing at the Florida State Law Enforcement Memorial in Tallahassee, Florida in 2008.  When we heard Lou's CD during our Memorial Committee meetings, it was unanimous that we wanted him to sing at the memorial.  Not only does Lou have an amazing voice, but he also carried himself with the highest level of professionalism.  He truly has a gift that should be shared with all of Law Enforcement.  Lou moves every person in the audience and leaves individuals waiting until the next time they can hear his beautiful voice."
- Lori Fiorino, Police Officer, Orlando Police Department

"As a member of the Fraternal Order of Police Florida State Memorial Committee, we heard a CD of Lou Galterio and voted on it.  But it wasn't until I heard Lou in person that I would hear the strength and beauty of his talent."
- Minerva Vogel, F.O.P. Auxiliary President

"Lou, I wanted to personally thank you for your participation in the ceremonies at the South Florida National Cemetery, the most recent being our Veterans Day observance. Your music and vocals made an already special day even more so. I've had many people come up and tell me how they were moved by your rendition of the National Anthem. I hope we can count on you for many more ceremonies. Thank you for your dedication and support of our veterans and the South Florida National Cemetery."

“Each of us has a voice with which to speak and or sing. With regards to speaking, it is a part of our anatomy that separates us from the animal kindom, though some animals do sing. Lou Galterio has been gifted with a singing voice that is second to none. His singing voice resonates with a crispness and clarity one won't hear very often. It's amazing to me that every word Lou sings upon every music note is understood. Lou and I have had the distinguished priviledge of adding our expertise during police officer memorial services the past few years. Me anouncing "the names" and Lou performing. During Lou's music renditions, the audience is always lifted to a higher plane. My words cannot express what he sounds like nor the feeling you will receive from this young man who sings from from his heart. You have to experience it.”
- Mark Dabney, Instructor / Trainer, Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office

Every time was an outstanding performance and I look forward to seeing & hearing you again."
